The practice of Momentum Orthopaedics is currently open. We will be offering face-to-face consultations as well as teleconferencing. Please check this website for updates in this rapidly evolving situation.
Elective orthopaedic surgery at Insight Private Hospital is currently at full capacity. "Non-urgent" public elective orthopaedic surgery at Albury Hospital has recommenced at 85% capacity for day case procedures but only 25% for patients requiring an overnight stay. Enquiries / concerns should be made to the Elective Surgery Access Unit Manager on (02) 6058 4625 or your local member of parliament.
Local emergency departments are aiming to reduce patient numbers. Dr Kolt is available to manage emergency conditions including fracture management. Emergency referrals can be made by phone call directly to Dr. Kolt
CONSULTATION ETIQUETTE
Momentum Orthopaedics assures safe consultations, while respecting current rules for social distancing.
With current restrictions, we are re-arranging our consultation schedule to host as many consultations as possible by tele-health. These consultations will be bulk-billed under the current health department provision.
Our practice assistant will be calling all patients who have pending appointments, to make plans for tele-health consultation.
Alternative arrangements will be made for consultations which cannot be conducted remotely.
